Beth Bryant '21
Attorney

What made you want to get your LIS?
I have a passion for connecting people with information they seek. For 28 years, I have counseled people through family crises (mainly divorce work). I like helping people and finding the "right thing" for their needs.

What is your favorite memory from the program so far?
Professor Lesniaski's tour of the Íæż½ã½ã's Library for the required Organization of Knowledge class, demonstrating some of the erratic "logic" of Library of Congress cataloging — informative and very funny!

What are your future career goals?
With my life experience, it could be so many things — working at and/or advocating for law libraries or public libraries, possibly obtaining credentials to work in the public school libraries.

What’s one special thing about yourself you’d like to share?
I collect Nancy Drew, Cherry Ames, and Alice in Wonderland books and items. I will never, ever "Marie Kondo" my book collection!
